SSC CGL is one of the toughest central government exams in India.SSC CGL is a four tier exam with objective tests, written tests and skill tests. Every year SSC will conduct exam and will have vacancies near to 5000.SSC CGL exam is an easy one if it is prepared well with patience.
1) Study each section individually
SSC CGL has 4 sections, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, English Language and General Awareness. Give concentration to the basics of each chapter and slowly practice questions. After practicing the questions work out in tests. The test practice will give the candidate confidence in the exam hall.
2) Practice QA Chapter Wise
Quantitative questions are the hardest for most of the students. Chose a good book in the market and workout questions, chapter wise .Clear the doubt ful questions and study the short cut methods. Work out the questions that went wrong and find out the reason why it went wrong. With time you will be able to do the question with accuracy and short time.
3) Reasoning can be tricky
Reasoning section will not always look easy. In the reasoning section, there are different types of question that must be figured out differently. There are no fixed formulas for reasoning section it is the candidate’s logical ability which will come to evaluation. Therefore, different types of reasoning questions must be practiced to save time in the exam.
4) English Language
English language is very simple for the SSC CGL exam. Stick to the syllabus of the exam. Get aware of synonyms, vocabularies and idioms. Read English newspapers to get aware of the language. If you have an English section in your competitive exam make sure that you read an English News paper daily. And also make sure that you read the editorial everyday which will help
5) General Awareness
To get hold of general awareness, daily newspapers must be read. Everyday reading will help you to differentiate between important and unimportant subjects. Daily current affairs capsules will give a brief account of all the happenings in the world.
6) Do Mock Tests
Mock test is an important part of every competitive exam. Mock test will let you understand the pulse of an exam. It will help you to time each question in a section. Make sure that you do the mock test with the timer. In a mock test you will be able to rank yourself and correct your mistakes. It will also help you to improve your accuracy every day. Make sure that you do mock tests everyday only after studying the syllabus and the questions.
7) No of Attempts
Every candidate has to do the least 60% of the total number of questions. The candidate must slowly increase the number of question but with accuracy. Without accuracy do not do a number of questions. Increase attempts and numbers with each test.
8) Write other exams
If you have the desire to win SSC CGL, give yourself the liberty to attend other exams. Write all the exams of almost the same pattern. Many exams means many good standard questions. Write as many exams and get to know different questions.
