University Assistant exam is conducted by the Kerala Public Service Commission. Till 2016, each University in Kerala used to conduct their own University Assistant exam. But after the spotting of appointment frauds in Assistant exams ,the government of Kerala decided to hand over the duty of recruitment to the Kerala Public Service Commission.
Kerala Public Service Commission conducted the examination of University Assistant in the year 2016 with the category code 42/2016.The exam was held on May 24th, 2016 and 17,000 candidates were selected in the main and supplementary list. The recruitment was held for the 13 universities in Kerala including Kerala University.
The notification of the University Assistant will be available in the official website of Kerala PSC . It will also be available in the new notifications list in the profile of the candidate registered with Kerala PSC.
Applications are invited by Kerala Public Service Commission through online mode only. The aspirants of Kerala PSC University Assistant must first register themselves in the ‘ONE TIME REGISTRATION TULASI website as per Official Kerala PSC website. After registration, log into your just made profile using the id and password used during registration. Find the post you want to apply and click on ‘Apply Now’. No application fee is charged for either registration or application.
The scale of pay notified in the notification of University Assistant ranges from Rs 13,900-24,040\-
Candidates applying for the post of University Assistant must be above 18 yrs and below 36 yrs of age .Age relaxations will be provided to the candidates according to the rules of reservation.
