IBPS SO haven’t released its official notification but has released its dates in the IBPS Calendar for 2017.IBPS SO will also see a changed pattern this year. From 2017, IBPS have decided to conduct specialist officer in two tiers. All the candidates who passes preliminary exam will be called for mains exam this year.The notification for IBPS SO will be available in the website of www.ibps.in

IBPS SO applications are invited through the official website of www.ibps.in. Application will be invited within a few days of the release of the official notification. Application needs to be submitted with biometric data of the candidate. Candidates must read the rules carefully before submitting the application of the candidate.
Candidates who wish to apply for the post of Specialist officer must be above 20yrs and below 30 yrs of age.

Till last year IBPS conducted only a single exam for the selection of IBPS Specialist Officer .From 2017 IBPS has decided to change the pattern of IBPS SO exam.
From this year onwards, IBPS SO will be conducted in two tiers. There will be a preliminary and main exam for IBPS SO exam. The syllabus for the preliminary exam has not revealed by the IBPS. But the IBPS calendar for 2017 says that the second paper or the tier two will only consist of a single main paper from professional knowledge.
IBPS SO admit cards will be published by IBPS twenty days prior to the exam .Candidates must check the site regularly to download the e-admit card of IBPS specialist officer.
