An andrologist is a person who deals with the diagnosis and treatment of male reproductive system. It is a branch of medicine which deals with men’s health. It mainly deals with male fertility and sexual dysfunction. Andrology is just the opposite of gynecology for women. An andrologist is also a type of urologist which treats conditions as sexuality and fertility. Andrology is also a broader part of urology. The specialization in the male reproductive part will treat diseases affecting the gentilia , injuries and dysfunctions of the male reproductive part. An andrologist can also specialize in vitro fertilization when the reproductive or sexual ability is impaired.They will also use a lot of treatments such as medication , hormone therapy and surgery .

Andrologist Eligibility

To be an anesthetist one must have a MBBS degree from a recognized medical university with a minimum pass mark of 55%.

The starting salary of an andrologist will range from Rs 35,000-Rs 45,000.Doctors working in government hospitals will get a starting salary of Rs 50,000- Rs 60,000. Experience in the field will give them a salary of Rs 90,000-Rs 1,00,000.
