Anthropology is the study of humans’ .An anthropologist studies humans from the primates to the man of the 21 st century. They examine the differences between the primates and the new human. They compare their old culture, language, jobs, and surroundings to the new surroundings. They mainly study the evolution of man and his surroundings .An anthropologist also studies the different types of anthropology to understand the criteria’s that lead to human evolution.
It takes the broad approach to understand what had made a human humane. That is the reason why an anthropologist studies the past. The past itself do not give any answers to the queries or the fossils do not give any answer. The social settings , the cultural fabric will give the answer to it. The traditions, the superstitions will give the answer to the evolution of humans. How is the man today eating burgers and pizzas ? How did it emerge from the man who just ate raw flesh of animals?. The study of the humans in different ages give us the answer. While excavating an ancient site an anthropologist will study the habits of humans if a body is found. He will study the cultural and linguistic settings of the person. Thats what an anthropologist does. And only that will give the answer. The changes in his body lead the study to apes and gorillas.
An anthropologist is very essential to the present society .Their contributions are very necessary to study the medical health of the present generation. There are mainly four types of anthropology Biological anthropology, cultural anthropology, linguistic anthropology and applied and practicing anthropology.
A student can be an anthropologist after studying courses in Bsc in anthropology and MSc in Anthropology.
