 A chartered accountant is a person who manages finance of an institution through audit and taxation. They help the management to keep the finance tallied and matched . To become a chartered accountant one must pass 12th std from a recognized university.

Chartered Accountancy Recruitment Process

Step 1 CPT (Common Proficiency Test)

It is the first level of Chartered Accountancy examination in India. It contains four basic subjects(If you have done your bachelors in commerce then you can skip the first part of your chartered accountancy exam).

Step 2 Integrated Professional Competency Course (IPCC)

It is the second level of exam conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in India.

Step 3  Articleship

The student must do three years of article ship in any CA practicing firm.

Step 4 Final Exam

After the successful completion of article ship the candidate must pass the final exams conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in India.
