A cosmologist is a person who studies the universe. He spends his time on the on theories of how to universe has formed and what events are happening within the universe. They try as many trails as possible to find out the correct origin. There are also specialties in the types of cosmology. He can choose from his preference what type of cosmology to study.
They are mainly interested about the celestial bodies of the universe. They can be planets, stars galaxies etc They look into the characteristics of each bodies. To help them in their works they take the help of telescopes, satellites and specialized radio telescopes .Other tools which they use are Earth-bound tools like particle accelerators and scientific laboratories for the purpose of testing theories about the universe.
To become a cosmologist you have to study courses on astrophysics or astronomy.
Step 1 To be a cosmologist you must pass 12thstd with science stream with good marks
Step 2 The courses for cosmology is provided by only the top institutes of our country .Therefore you must write their respective exam to get admission in their prescribed colleges.
Step 3 No colleges in India offers courses for cosmology for graduation. You have to do masters degree for it. But you can do your graduation in courses like BSc Physics, Bsc Mathematics. Some of the colleges that provide courses in the above courses are
