ENT Career

ENT doctor is also called as an Otolaryngologist who is trained to diagnose and treat disease of ear, nose and throat. They also conduct surgeries for the treatment of the ear, nose and throat. They take care diseases like ear infection, nose bleeds, infected mastoids, tonsillectonomies and chronic sinusitis. They are trained to manage disorders of the upper pharynx and oral cavity, voice box, ear, nose and nasal passage. An ENT doctor will treat the disorders of the ear, nose and throat.

Ear balance and ear infections are a common site in the present world .Other issues for which an ENT is consulted are nasal cavities and sinusitis. ENT Eligibility

The student must pass 12th std with major subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology to write the NEET exam (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test). NEET exam will determine the eligibility of a person to pursue MBBS course.

ENT Recruitment Process

Step 1 To become an ENT one must have a MBBS degree from a recognised medical college.

Step 2 You must pass the NEET PG medical entrance to attain admission for Post Graduation .

Step 3 The duration for Masters in ENT medicine is three years. 

Step 4 Complete the PG course and you will be a recognised ENT specialist .
