There are a number of branches in Indian Air Force namely the Aeronautical Engineering branch, the flying branch and the Ground duty Branch (non - technical branch) .Admission to the various branches are done through the AFCAT exam (Air Force Common Admission Test),NCC Special Entry Scheme or through National Defense Academy. Men have more chances in the exams as some of the exams and entries are exclusive to men alone.
