National Handloom Day celebrated on Aug 7th

National Handloom Day is celebrated in India to honour and promote handweavers in India.It is the third edition of Handloom day after constituting it in 2015.

Amarnath Yatra ends

Amarnath Yatra,the 40 day pilgrimage to Amarnath shrine in south kashmir Himalayas ended on Monday.The devotees were able to finish the pilgrimage though there was a terrorist attack killing 8 devotees in a bus.The pilgrimage concludes on the day of Raksha bandhan every year.
