MoRTH promotes new technologies in highways

Ministry of Road Transport and Highways  has decided to implement value engineering programme in the highways.The programme aims at implementing innovative methods for making it stronger and environment friendly.    

India water week inaugrated 

President Ram Nath Kovind has inaugrated the India Water Week themed Water and Energy for Inclusive Growth .Union Minister of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Road Transport & Highways and Shipping Shri Nitin Gadkari said that 285 new irrigation projects will be taken up by next year to provide irrigation for 1 crore 88 lakh hectare of land.

First BIMSTEC Management to be held in India

The first Bay of Bengal Multi-Sectoral and Technical and Economic Cooperation (Bimstec) disaster management exercise will be held in October 10th. The exercise will feature seven countries, including Bangladesh, of South and South East Asia to test their efficiency in facing natural calamities.
