Justice Mukul Mudgal elected head of FIFA Governance Committee

Mukul Mudgal, who headed the IPL 2013 spot-fixing probe, was named the chairman of FIFA’s governance committee at the world football governing body’s 67th Congress in Bahrain’s capital city of Manama.

VVS Laxman has become the latest Indian cricketer to be awarded an honorary life membership by the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC). Laxman has now become the fifth Indian player to receive the prestigious honor, after Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly, and Zaheer Khan.
