Sree Narayana Gurukulam College of Engineering is a new age, multi-disciplinary institute offering a portfolio of courses in Engineering, Computer Applications and Management streams.

The college was founded by a group of well known academicians. Sree Narayana Institute of Technology, Adoor is a college synonymous with knowledge empowerment that bagan under the tutelage of the Pattayil Kunjukunju Memorial Charitable Trust. I t is situated in Theppupara, Adoor, Pathanamthitta District of Kerela state. SNIT began its journey with engineering courses as its primary concentartion. In 2013, MBA was added to the College curriculum to meet the growing global importance of business education.

The College of Engineering, Trivandrum was established in 1939 as the first Engineering College in the then Travancore State. The first classes were started on 3rd July 1939 during the reign of the Travancore King, Sri Chithira Thirunal Balarama Varma and as the head of the then Travancore state he deserves his share of credit in the establishment of the college. Initially the College was housed in the former office and bungalow of the Chief Engineer (present PMG Office).
