OUR AIM

We at SBP INSTITUTE work hard to develop a medicine that can be swallowed by all young and mature minds without any hesitation and trauma. Training students for challenging and extraordinary jobs is always challenging. We at SBP INSTITUTE work hard to prepare young mind for this coveted job. It is the only coaching institute which keeps in mind the best skills to be developed for the premiere job. Converting a cadet into an officer is no more a minimal task. It requires pre- training for the actual test to qualify for the written test .We groom aspirants for the hard work that one needs to perform.

Preparing for a premier joint training institution and center of excellence for grooming junior leaders for the Indian armed forces and armed forces of Friendly Foreign Countries is not an easy task but a herculean one. The training entails equipping the cadets with mental, moral and physical attributes required to cope with the challenges of the future battle field with the aim of leading troops to victory in conventional, non-conventional and asymmetrical conflicts.

The syllabic encompass science, technology, arts and military subjects. A cadet is awarded a Bachelor’s Degree from the Jawaharlal Nehru University. The regimen consists of physical conditioning which includes drill, swimming, horse riding, full gamut of games and adventure activities. In three years at the Academy, he is transformed from a Cadet into a potential Officer and a gentleman.

It is utmost and fervently painful that, most schools and colleges conducting the events like Annual day Celebration and other eventful celebration are showing sincere efforts in inviting the actor/actress or important celebrities. It does not mean to criticize them, but there must be an attempt to invite the armed personnel who put their life at risk for guarding the country. It would be more effective, useful and highly patriotic, if the officers of the Armed forces would be invited as chief guest to give speech among the growing children in schools and colleges.

To the greatest shock, now the youths choosing the armed forces are totally blind about the selection procedures or other criteria to get through armed forces. If officers are invited as chief guest, there starts a wonderful opportunity and ample procedure of sharing their experience and work nature about the nation to tomorrow’s youths which spirits their energy level to step into armed services.

Speech and expressional approach from armed officers have greater impact for promoting positive approach in younger minds. Students think that, getting into armed forces is a herculean task and often try to opt into civil services, engineering field and medical arena. They are unaware of the skills required to clear the defence forces examinations and the mode of preparing for the same. More skilful mind is most often ready to fly abroad for better prospect, by forgetting their mother country. This situation needs to be changed rapidly, diverting such skilful persons to be retained in armed forces to the extent of protection of the mother Country, thereby avoiding the increase of brain drain . A stream bridge balance should be established to share the views, risks, thought and expressions of the armed officials into the future minds to ensure patriotism, thereby developing high concentration of Army aspirants unlike civil aspirants. Hence those are to be invited as Chief Guest to share their valuable lectures, apart from broadcasting special programs in local channels on important holidays.

In the modern era, when the technology stands as the greatest knack of communication, social media can even regularly broadcast the principles and discipline reinforced in the life history of the armed personnel. Such lectures and speeches would reduce the gender disparity against the underprivileged section of society.

A career in defence forces promises one of the most prestigious and respected positions in the country. Youngsters who aspire to choose a career of excitement, adventure, and challenges can find no better place than defence to meet all their professional expectations. The Indian Armed Forces are the military forces of India which consist of four professional uniformed services: The Indian Army, Indian Air Force, Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard. The various paramilitary organizations and various inter-service institutions also help the Indian Armed Forces. The Ministry of Defence is responsible for the management of armed forces in India.

DEFENCE JOB IS A LUCRATIVE JOB

The job satisfaction associated with a career in the Armed Forces is second to none. Protecting your country gives you a sense of purpose & responsibility. Even others seem to see it that way. Squadron Leader Mukherjee (retd.), presently flying for Air India, fondly remembers, “The kind of respect and authority that serving Officers command both within the services and among civilians can never be matched by any other profession.” A career in the defense forces also gives one, a taste of India. Defense personnel get the unique opportunity to travel to and interact with people from the remotest corners of India as part of their duties. One learns how to deal with people from different backgrounds, respect others’ opinions and lead from the front.

A LIFE AFTER RETIREMENT

There are numerous instances of individuals who take premature retirement from the services and do well in life in alternate fields. Army Officers are perceived quite rightly as strict disciplinarians with a reputation for neatness, punctuality and efficiency in dealing with all sorts of people. This impression usually lands them good positions in the security or personnel departments of companies. With their clear thinking and a no-nonsense attitude, they make it to advisory positions at the top management of organizations. Navigation Officers in the Navy generally join the Merchant Navy as Captains. Alternatively, Indian Naval Officers can take up shore jobs in shipping companies.
