S.S.K.Basaveshwar Arts, Science, Commerce UG and PG College, Basavakalyan was started in the year 1967. Now the college has grown up into very large number of students. The Sangha has opened this college in the remote part of the Karnataka with sole objective of uplifting this backward area and Karma Bhoomi of Lord Basaveshwar.
Self-discipline and independent thinking, writing, reading and speaking are the two corners stones of our institution on which the life of students is built. The faculty members makes all efforts to stimulate intellectual honesty among the fellow students, as our students live in a rich cultural environment.
