Divine intervention in the Mortal world gave birth to the science of curative medicine for the ailments with which humans were beset; for which they did not know the cures. The earliest of these arts is perhaps the Indian science of Ayurveda or the ‘Knowledge of Life’. Handed down over generations it was once the mainstay of Indian life. Colonial powers tried to erode its influence, but to no avail. After an initial setback, this holistic system of medicine is now recognized the world over for its worth, in the preservation of good health and the treatment of ill health.
Consequently there is an increased demand for qualified and authentically trained Ayurvedic physicians.
