Acharya Pathasala Evening College of arts and commerce was started in 1964 with the sole purpose of providing quality collegiate education to the socially and economically challenged students. The college is a premier institution in Bengaluru that offers Pre-university and Degree courses during the evening hours for the benefits of employees. During the early years of its inception, the college was affiliated to University of Mysore; However the college is now affiliated to Bangalore University. The college came under grant-in-aid scheme in 1969 through a government order (ED 90-UPC69 Bangalore dated 31-10-1969).
Located in the center of the city, the college offers Pre-university and Degree courses in arts and commerce with assistance of highly qualified talented and dedicated teachers, The College has been able to impart quality education to the students. Despite several odds, the administrative staff of the college is also striving hard to help the student in all possible ways. The college has secured good academic results since last several years.
