Considering the priorities set forth by the Government Policy on Education, sanction is accorded by the Government to establish new Colleges of Applied science in the areas having little facility of technical education of lift IHRD the pioneer educational agency providing technical education. The college of Applied Science sanctioned at Attappadi is one of its kind to uplift the weaker section of the community by providing technical education. The above vision of the Government is becoming exactly true on this day by inaugurating the college with in the short span of period.
The College of Applied Science, Attappadi managed by Institute of Human Resource Development (IHRD), a Kerala Government Undertaking and is affiliated to the University of Calicut. This College offering UG programs such as B.Sc. Electronics and B. Sc. Computer Science ,B.Com with Computer Application and BBA. The Courses are being conducted in the Semester System with the most modern syllabi, modified from time to time.
The present location of the College is at College of Applied Science Campus, Agali Post, just one kilometres from Agali Junction.
