Deen College of Arts And Science is established by Rafiudeen Educational and Charitable Trust. Dr.A.Rafiudeen is The Chairman. The Committee Members are Mr.R.Kursheed and Mrs.R.Foujiya Begum. Our College was started on 15.09.2010 with affiliation for 5 courses B.A., (English)., B.Com., B.B.A., B.Sc., Computer science., and BCA .
Presently our college provides 7 disciplines for Under Graduate courses viz: B.Com., B.B.A., B.C.A., B.A.(English), B.Sc. (Maths), B.sc.(Comp.Sci), B.sc. (Chemistry), and 3 post graduates disciplines viz. M.A. (English), M.Com., M.Sc. (Computer Science).
We have an experienced, well qualified, dedicated and disciplined team of 40 teaching faculty and 20 non teaching employees, maintaining cordial, conductive and compassionate relation with students.
From the year of 2011 -2012 onwards SC / ST Scholarships are given to the first year students by the Government of Tamilnadu.These scholarships are usually extended to subsequent years also. Students can get bus passes for government buses. No capitation fee or donation is collected from the students or parents in any manner.
Ragging is unheard in our college. In fact senior students of our college arrange a welcome function to junior students every year to get well acquainted with each other. Our students are well trained to discipline themselves in all aspects.
Our students are provided greater opportunity to get leadership qualities and encouraged active participation in extracurricular activities in civic, cultural, social and moral fiber of the society.
we support to students to stimulate their skills by providing the services like Internet Lab, Career Guidance programs, Hostel, Transport, Training etc, Our students are encouraged to unite themselves without discrimination of caste, creed, race, religion, in the bond of friendship, fellowship and cultivate mutual respect through value based education and support secular ideals founded in our constitution.
