Government Degree College, Tuni was established in 1980. The college faculties are highly experienced and dedicated and aim at all round development of students so that they can face the challenges in all walks of life. Apart from class room teaching the college encourages students to take part in sports and other cultural activities. This is a co educational institute imparting higher education in Arts, Science and Commerce stream.
The College is developing in leaps and bounds and the students are participating in social welfare, social awareness programmes under N.S.S. To impart training in Communication, Soft and Employable Skills among the outgoing U.G. students, J.K.C. Extension center is established in 2008.
