The Department of Collegiate Education has been striving to make quality higher education, affordable and accessible to all sections of students. The Department has been taking keen interest to see that students belonging to the most backward communities, women and rural students are not deprived of Higher Education and sanctioned 167 colleges in the year 2007 in Karnataka. Government First Grade College, Rajajinagar is one among 411 colleges and established in June 2007.
The College is affiliated to Bangalore University and offers BA (HEK, HEP, HES), B Com, BBM and B Sc (PMCs) courses. Co-curricular activities such as NSS, NCC, Sports, Scouts & Guides, Youth Red Cross, Cultural etc. are available.
The College has experienced and qualified teaching and non-teaching staff to cater to the needs of the students. The college has good Library, Laboratory and such other facilities. The college has track record of good results.
