Located just off NH47 on Estate Road, Kallukuzhi, Umayanalloor in Kollam, the college stands in an area of 5 acres of lush greenery and offers courses in B.Ed , D.Ed ,Vocational Training Center,Higher Secondary School,Residential Public School. The Colleges are affiliated to the University of Kerala.

C.H. Muhammed Koya Memorial Educational and Charitable Trust” was established on 9th of August 2001. The Trust has decided to form a Public Charitable Trust for the purpose of opening and running Schools, Colleges, other educational institutions in the State of Kerala and other parts of India and for the other charitable purposes set out in this Trust deed for educational advancement of the members of the Muslim minority community who are backward in education in particular and of the public in general and for helping poor people in India.
In addition to this, the main objectives of the Trust are:
To establish and maintain Schools, Colleges, Vocational training centers, B.Ed. centers and professional institutions etc., for imparting quality education in the respective fields and for development of personality to the students of the Muslim minority community who are backward in education in particular and to the public in general.
To establish, develop and maintain Hospitals, Medical schools, Medical/Dental colleges, Nursing institutions, Maternity homes, Child welfare centers and other similar institutions.
To establish Research centers,Laboratories and Libraries for the benefit and use of the general public.
To institute Scholarships and awards and grant loans/advances to deserving students and help them pursue their studies.
To establish Old age homes, Rehabilitation centers, Orphanages etc., to promote some specific objectives.
To render assistance to mentally retarded, crippled and other physically handicapped children both directly and indirectly.
To undertake works for the welfare of the handicapped.
TO serve and contribute to society through pursuit of higher education to rural population.
TO achieve high academic excellence through development of both faculties and facilities and emerge as a world class educational, technological and managerial research centre.
TO achieve total self sufficiency in the areas of Science, Engineering, Technology & Management education by starting new UG and PC courses and creating doctoral and post doctoral research programmes.
TO help the students to enhance their knowledge and develop their personality and attitude through self-discipline, self-motivation, self-determination and character development.
TO encourage the students to take up co-curricular and extra-curricular activities like National Service Schemes, Youth Red Cross, Red Ribbon Clubs, Sports & Games and help in becoming a good Indian Citizen.
TO educate the students to take up technical entrepreneurship towards Nation Building. to seek, to strive, to achieve and never to yield on the quality of education.
