Imayam Arts & Science College was established years back with the goal to develop socialistic way of thinking and socialistic bend of mind. Our institution has earned recognition from the Higher Education (EI) Department. Govt. of Tamil Nadu (G.O.N.05448-6/12/2004). Faculty members in this department are very passionate about creating a group of professionals who are committed and take social roles and responsibilities.
Imayam Arts & Science College aims at inculcating social values in individuals, preparing individuals for taking up social roles and responsibilities increasing social efficiency of individual and creating such human personalities. We aim at fostering international understanding championing the cause of peace, maintaining the unity and the integrity of the nation, creating rational attitude, in citizens towards population, environment and other such pressing problems . Out institution plays an important role not only in the development of individuals but also in the development of society.
The courses introduced here have got a common feature. They all aim at the first rate. The worthy purpose in life is the desire for excellence, the pursuit of the first - rate.
The purpose of every course is to help the students learn what is first rate in that particular subject which he studies. If it is a course in English, the aim is that he should know what is good English, if it is a course in Microbiology he should invent a new life, if it is a course in Physics, he should know how to create an energized electron world, if it is a course in Mathematics, the Queen of Science, he should know how to get the linearity and confidence, if it is a course in commerce, he should know how to handle the various activities of business and so on.
