The Mahila Samaja Arts,Science,commerce and management studies College is located near travelers Bungalow opposite to SNR Hospital New Extension Kolar.
The college was started in 2003 June and it is affiliated to Bangalore University. The college has the strength of 270 students and the courses offered are B.Com, BBA, M COM.
The aim of starting the college was to impart quality education to rural students and most importantly to enlighten the women. The college has built its own reputation in the locality and it has become everyone’s household name in Kolar and surroundings when they talk about quality education. Students come from nook and corners of Kolar district. This resulted in curbing the rural students migrating to city looking for quality education because the same is being provided locally at very nominal and affordable fees.
The college is having good number of lecturers who are highly educated, qualified and experts in their respective fields. Also, other than the curriculum, the students are encouraged and trained through curricular and co-curricular activities. Sports and sports persons are encouraged with open hands by the management. The college conducts soft skills programmes, workshops and seminars both for students and staff by the experts.
