Maganur Sarvamangalamma Basappa, Arts and Commerce College is the constituent of Bapuji Educational Association which is one of the leading educational institutions in Davangere. The college was started in 1969 as an evening college with a generous donation contributed by Sri Maganur Basappa, a business magnet of the city, in memory of his better-half Smt.Sarvamangalamma, to impart education for the employed section of the society. In 1983, the college was converted into a day college to cater to the educational needs of the students from all walks of life in and around Davangere. The college offers B.A., B.Com. and B.B.M degree courses.
The College has undergone two cycles of NAAC and is accredited with ‘B’ grade. Remedial coaching classes are conducted for the slow and poor learners.
