Najath College of Science and Technology, a Backward Minority institute, recognized by the govt of Kerala and Affiliated to University of Calicut was established in 2004 with the aim of catering to the educational requirements of the area and its surroundings by creating a peaceful and progressive atmosphere for encouraging the conduct of intellectual and personal development of the needful student community stressing on ethical and rational developmental training programmes.
As an educational institution run by Darunnajath Islamic Center, the NCST has its own reputation for discipline, efficiency and maintenance of standards. The credit of all this goes first and foremost to late Jb. KT Manu Musliyar, the honorable founder of the Darunnajath Islamic center, who must also be remembered for the invaluable contributions he made towards the educational development of his native place and its surroundings.
The occasion of formally devoting the building to the Public was celebrated on 24th May 2008 and the ceremony was graced by the presence of Mr. RL Bhatia, the then Governor of Kerala.
