Pragathi college of science & management studies, one of the educational institutions located in heart of the Chintamani town, was established in 1998 with a view to provide quality education for aspiring rural and semi urban teenagers & youngsters.
Qualified & experienced faculties in various department areinvolved in both academic, curricular & non curricular activities. The college was started with a modest intake of students for pre university course in science, commerce & arts at present the degree college has separate identity and offer courses in a B,sc B,Com and BBM our college is under the purview of Bangalore university. The institution also gives priority in admission for students from weaker section of the society and farming class.
