Affiliated to Bharatidasan University, Swami Dayananda College of Arts & Science, Manjakkudi is at par with international educational institutions. With 80% of its students being first generation learners, it has encouraged and spread the value of education across 300 villages from which its students come from. In year 2001, the college began with 200 girl students. Over the last 17 years, over 1000 have enrolled for under-gradute, post-gradute and doctoral programmes and successfully graduated from Swami Dayananda College of Arts & Science. Along with academics, the college encourage extra-curricular activities.
