Population of state ‘U’ is 75 lakhs which is 80% of the population of state ‘V’ and 120%of the population of state ‘S’.

What is the ratio between population of state Q and State S respectively?

Explanation:

Population of State U = 75 lakh

Population of state V = 75 ×100/80

=375/4 lakh

Population of state S = 75 × 100/120

= 125/2 lakh

Population of State R = 125/2 ×100/125 = 50lakh

=225/4 Lakh

Population of state P = 75 × 80/100 = 60 lakh

Population of State T = 60×100/150 = 40 lakh

Required ratio = 225/4 : 125/2

= 9:10
