Let A can complete the same work in x days.

∴ A's 1 day's work = 1/x

B'x 1 day's work = 1/24

According to question,

1/x+1/24=1/16

24+x/24x=1/16

16×24+16x=24x

384=24x-16x

x=384/8= 48 days
