How the Given set (7,27,55) is related to the set (16,40,72)
ANSAMOL ANDREWS mathew 10 October 2017 08:48:AM
The pattern followed in (7, 27, 55) is:
Sum of 1st and 3rd = 7 + 55 = 62 and ((27 × 2) + 8) = 54 + 8 =62
Now we will check for given sets,
(21, 35, 52) ? 21 + 52 = 73 and ((35 × 2) + 8) = 78
(18, 42, 65) ? 18 + 65 = 83 and ((42 × 2) + 8) = 92
(16, 40, 72) ? 16 + 72 = 88 and ((40 × 2) + 8) = 88
(13, 30, 58) ? 13 + 58 = 71 and ((30 × 2) + 8) = 68
Thus (16, 40, 72) is the correct answer.
