Father’s age is 30years more than the son’s age. Ten years hence the father’s age will become three times the son’s age that time. What is son’s present age in years ?
Let the son's present age be x years
Father's present age = (x+30) years
After ten years, Father's age = x+30+10=x+40
Son's age = x+10
According to question, 3(x+10) = x+40
3x+30=x+40
2x=10
x=5years
