I. Rasika’s age four years hence will be three times Manisha’s age that time.

II. Rasika’s age two years ago was five times Manish’s age that time.

Explanation:

Let Rasika's present age = 4 years

Manisha's present age = y years

From statements I and II,

(x+4) = 3 (y+4)

x+4 = 3y+14

x-3y = 8

(x-2) = 5 (y-2)

x-2 = 5y-10

x-5y= -8

On solving equations (i) and (ii),

x=32, y=8

∴ Present age of Rasika = 32 years
