What is the difference between total number of males in village C and D together and the total number of females in the same villages together

Total number of population of village C = 200

Number of males in village C = 200×3/5=120

Number of females in village C = 200-120=80

Let total number of population of village D = x

Number of illiterate population in village D = 120

x×40/100=120

x=300

Number of males in village D = 300×2/3=200

Number of females in village D = 300-200=100

∴ Required difference = (120+200)-(80+100)

=320-180

=140
