In place of five Kirana stores one or two supermarkets are being established. It has been found that customers’ requirements are looked after by trained staff. It has been found that food products are low life products which are manufactured from local manufacturers. These products are typically purchased by the customer on the assurance. The market is appealing to supermarkets and retail outlet owners are setting up their business in other areas where there are less Kirana stores.
