A marine biologist studies about the organisms in the sea or its environment. It can either be animals or the plants of the sea. They study their characteristics and help them in its survival. They usually spend most of the time in the marine environment. During their college days they study more about marine animals which have different characteristics than the land animals.
A marine biologist study about the ocean and its living beings. They learn about their physical features, properties, climate, physiological features etc. A marine biologist at the same time work as a research associate and a conservationist for the marine life. A biologist can also specialize on an organism, if the person wants to specialize on a microbe it is possible and if he wants to specialize on a whale then it is also possible.
