A geographer is a person who studies earth and its features .A geographer will study the physical aspects of the land in par with other factors such as cultural, economical, regional, medical, human factors etc .They will study how the land has influenced the factors above.
Most of the geographers do field work .They work through maps, photographs, satellite imagery and GPS systems. They also make use of statistical analysis and graphs to understand various data’s about a place .With the help of datas they find out the features of a location. A geographer is the best friend to a cartographer. A geographers knowledge will be helpful to a cartographer hen he makes maps. As there are different types of geographers they analyze in each location according to each parameter in which they are focusing on .
