Goa bans thin Plastic Bags

The Goa government has banned thin plastic bags below 50 microns from July to tackle garbage.Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar said the law will be implemented starting with a fine of Rs500 subsequently raised to Rs 5000.

NASA's Juno finds Earth sized storms in Jupiter

NASA's Juno spacecraft has found earth sized storms above Jupiter's poles.The finding's also suggest the presence of ammonia clouds over the planet.Juno began its almost five-year journey to  Jupiter in August 2011,entering the planet's orbit on July 2016.

India's first Electric Mass Mobility System launched in Nagpur.

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis has inaugrated India's first multi-modal electric vehicle project at Nagpur Airport Complex.The pilot project will have a fleet of 200 electric vehicles including taxis,buses,,E-rickshaws and autorickshaws.

India and Mauritius inks four agreements

PM Narendra Modi and PM Pravind Kumar Jugnauth has signed 4 agreements worth 500million dollars between India and Mauritius.The monetary help has been extended by India.

PM Narendra Modi inaugrates longest bridge in Assam

PM Narendra Modi has inaugrated the longest bridge in Asia named the Dhola-Sadiya Bridge.It is capable of withstanding the weight of a 60-tonne battle tank,and will also improve the movement of civilian and military vehicles to critical locations up to Anini in Arunachal Pradesh.The bridge will also reduce 4hrs in duration from Assam to Arunachal Pradesh.
