    Poet and lyricist Pazhavila Ramesan passed away at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday. He was 83 years old. According to family members he was suffering from age-related issues.

  • Action choreographer-filmmaker Veeru Devgan passes away

    Veteran action choreographer and filmmaker Veeru Devgan passed away on Monday morning.

    His funeral will be held today at 6 pm in Mumbai’s Vile Parle West crematorium.

    Veeru Devgan choreographed stunts in over 80 films. He made his directorial debut with 1999 film Hindustan Ki Kasam, starring Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan, Manisha Koirala and Sushmita Sen. Veeru also bankrolled films like Dil Kya Kare and Singhasan.

    Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh) [India], May 12 (ANI): Padma Shri awardee Bhojpuri vocal artist Hiralal Yadav passed away in Varanasi on Sunday at the age of 93.
    Yadav was a well known Bhojpuri folk singer from the 'Birha' genre, which revolves around the separation of a lover from his beloved.
    Yadav was unwell for several months and was admitted to a private hospital where he died this morning, according to reports.

  • ITC's Non-Executive Chairman YC Deveshwar Passes Away

    YC Deveshwar, chairman of the ITC group, passed away this morning. He was 72.

    Deveshwar joined ITCNSE 1.49 % in 1968 and became the executive chairman of the company in 1996. Under his leadership, ITC was successful in warding a takeover threat from its largest shareholder BAT and it made a successful diversification in the FMCG category.

    Deveshwar moved to the role of non executive chairman in 2017. Sanjiv Puri is the current CEO and MD of the company
