One rupee notes turns 100 

The one rupee note turns 100.The blue one rupee note turned 100 on November 30th .This is the only note which does not bear the signature of the RBI governor.

Saubhagya scheme launched in Manipur 

The Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Aur Ghar Yojana is launched by the Union Minister of State (IC) for Power and New & Renewable Energy, Shri R.K. Singh and Shri N. Biren Singh, Chief Minister of Manipur.Approximately 1.75 lakh households from Manipur will be included in the scheme. 

Mirabhai First Indian over two decades to win gold medal in World weightlifting championships

Mirabhai Chanu has become the first Indian over two decades to win gold medal in a Weight Lifting Championship.Chanu lifted 85kg in snatch and 109kg in clean and jerk to total an impressive 194kg in the 48kg category and in the process set a new National record in clean-and-jerk.

Odisha allows Rs 364 cr for farmers affected by seasonal rain 

The state government of Odisha released Rs 364.76 cr from the state disaster relief fund as agriculture input subsidy (cash assistance to compensate the investment in agriculture) for rain-hit farmers in 19 districts.

48TH International Film Festival concludes 

The 48th International Film Festival concludes in Panji,Goa.120 Beats per minute by Robin Capilo won the Best Film category in the film festival. Nahuel Pérez Biscayart,won the best actor in male category for the film 120 beats per minute and Parvathy Thirovoth Kottuvatta ,won the best actor in the female category for the Malayalam film Take Off. 

Russia to assist India for the National Crisis Response Centre 

Russia agreed that they will help India to render help to build the National Crisis Response Centre  to handle disaster and other emergency situations.This was agreed during a meeting between Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Russian Minister for Emergency Situations with Vladimir Puchkov in Moscow.

Food Safety and Standards Authority of India have decided to recall food products in the market since it has drafted guidelines for it.Any food item found not edible to use it will be recalled from the market.

Freedom of Oxford award has been stripped off Aung Sang Suu Kyi due to her inaction in handling the rohingya crisis.Oxford City Council voted unanimously last night to permanently remove the honour given to 72-year-old Suu Kyi in 1997.

World's first 3D sanskrit short film showcased 

It is a feature film which showcases light to the ancient theatrical tradition of koodiyattom named the Anurakthi.It is directed by Asokan Ponnan.It was showcased during the International Festival held at Goa.

Realty Firms Unimark group has build 140 ultra luxury apartments named the Trump Towers. They are expecting a sales around of Rs 700 from this project. This is the third trump tower in India.

Two day Korean Tourism festival held in Haryana 

A two day Korean festival which showcases Koreas rich art and culture was inaugrated by the Korean Tourism Organisation.The two-day extravaganza was kicked off with fanfare and authentic Korean performances such as Nanta (non-verbal performance) and B-boying (by Gambler Crew) flown from South Korea.

Odisha government introduces Fish Pond Yojana scheme 

Odisha government has introduced the fish pond yojana scheme for creation of additional water bodies for freshwater aquaculture in 2,200 hectares of land. The government has also decided to provide subsidy to farmers for this purpose.
