Mahindra Singh Dhoni selected for Padma Bhushan 

Board of Control for Cricket in India hasnominated M S Dhoni to the nations third civillian award.Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who led India to two World Cup titles, has scored 9737 runs in 302 ODIs besides 4876 runs in 90 Test matches. He has also played 78 T20 Internationals.

Cabinet to restore Khelo India scheme

Union Cabinet has decided to revamp the Khelo India scheme which will select 1000 candidates every year and will recieve an annual scholarship of 5 lakh rupees for 8 yrs.
