Government announces 30 new smart cities

Government has announced 30 new smart cities under the Smart City Mission.It has been anounced by Union Minister for Urban Development and Housing and Urban Poverty Allievation.The Smart City programme is a flagship scheme of Union Government that will cover 100 cities and its duration is five years.
