Japan launches 4th GPS satellite 

Japan has launched 4th Michibiki GPS satellite which gives Japan independence from US.It expands a "quasi-zenith" system designed to provide greater access to GPS in urban 'canyons' where buildings tend to block signals from lower-orbit satellites.
