The combined Colleges of Arts, Science and Technology was established in the year 1931-32 with Padmabhushan Mamidipudi Venkata Rangayya as the Founder Principal. Afterwards the College of Arts & Commerce was carved out from the combined colleges in the year 1966.

Dr. Cheeday Satyanarayana a paediatrican who served and saved lacks of sick children in West Godavari, East Godavari and Krishna Districts for over four decades, developed interest in promotion of education and got a society registered and promoted "Peoples' Education Society" in the year 1991. With his contacts in these areas 45o elite have joined as members of the general body.

Amrutha Arts and Science Degree College, situated at Malikipuram, in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, is a self financing co-education college. The college was established in the year 2005 to provide need based higher education to the people of Malikipuram and its nearby areas. The college is well equipped with all modern infrastructure facilities within a beautiful and spacious campus.
