Sree Narayana College, Kollam is one of the earliest and the greatest centres of higher education in the whole state of Kerala. This institution was established with Arts subject courses of under-graduate wing of University College, Thiruvananthapuram in 1993-1994, with minimum infrastructural facilities. During 1996-97 all under graduate courses were shifted back to University College Thiruvananthapuram.
