The Government of Kerala included the Sahrdaya College as one of the engineering colleges to which the students have to be admitted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination from the year 2002-2003 in the four branches sanctioned by the AICTE.

MET’S is the acronym for Mala Education Trust. MET’S School of Engineering was established by this Trust in 2002. It is accredited by the AICTE( All India Council for Technical Education) and is affiliated to the University of Calicut. The college is affiliate APJ Abdulkalam Technological University from 2015-15.

Sree ChitraThirunal College of Engineering (SCTCE), Thiruvananthapuram, was established by the Govt. of Kerala in the year 1995 in memoriam of the Great Maharaja of Travancore and is affiliated to the University of Kerala with AICTE approval.
